If you are not happy with your purchase or it is not quite what you expected you can be at peace of mind that we will take returns. We have one of the most comprehensive and friendly furniture return policies in the online furniture marketplace.
You can return any item for any reason within the first 30 days of receipt of the product. Our products include free shipping as part of our commitment to reduce costs for you. For any returned items we will have to deduct the return shipping cost. We have a restocking fee of 15%. Please bear in mind you cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped.
The Return Procedure:
- Please email us at returns@furnitureopia.com, or call us. Include your order number, the products you are returning and your name. Include the address if it is different to your order shipping address. We will provide you with a return address as some products may go directly to our warehouses or manufacturers.
- Return the product using the best shipping method for you.
- Ensure you keep your tracking number so you can be aware when the shipment is received.
- We are unable to refund shipping and handling charges unless there is an error on our part
- As soon as the item is received at our depot we will issue a refund to the credit card you purchased the item with
- Please note the item should be packed in the original packaging and carefully protected otherwise additional charges may apply
- Please note certain products cannot be returned, for example custom and built to order
- Please note you cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped
Damaged Order Procedure and Policy
All our products are packaged and cushioned extremely well to reduce any damage in shipping. Many items are protected with internal packaging and exterior packaging to reduce any damage.
If items are delivered by a freight or truck company
- When you see the package is slightly damaged, ensure you sign for the shipment with the clarification or note that the products looks damaged with as much detail as possible
- If the package is extremely damaged you can refuse delivery. The item will be delivered back to us and we send out a new package immediately. Call us immediately and let us know you refused shipment so we can expect it to be returned.
- If you have accepted a package and find missing parts or damaged parts notify us immediately. We have to talk to the freight carrier within 24 hours if there is an issue with the delivery
- If there are missing parts or a manufacturers defect please contact us immediately and we will send out parts at no cost to you. We work with high quality manufactures and
- If we are unable to do this we will arrange for pick up of the package in its original packaging for a full refund
- If you do not want parts or replacements you can return the package under the return policy stated above
